I worked as a Graduate Assistant for two years at Sponsored Projects Administration at Ball State University. My main role was to promote their events and get as many registrations as possible.
My most successful event promotion campaign was their Student Symposium event.

I also worked as an Event planner and Marketing Assistant for Watson Institute at Lynn University for 6 months. Two major events that I planned were the Mentor Networking Event and their Orientation.
You can see my planning strategies in detail for all these events below

Student Symposium
I used all forms of media to get registrations for this event. The target number of registrations for the event was 80 - 90 registration. After the campaign, I got 100 registrations which was the maximum limit. This was one of the biggest events at Ball State University with over 250 guests. I used local newspapers, radio announcements, Campus TV ads, Table tents, social media marketing, email marketing, and flyers to achieve 100 registrations.

Mentor Networking Event
I organized a Mentor Networking Event for Watson Institute at Lynn University. This event was an exclusive event and we hand-picked 50 successful local entrepreneurs who were invited to the event to help students network with them and get some tips about how to start their own business.

Orientation
I planned an Orientation event for 50 Watson Institute Students.
